I am an Associate Professor of Architecture and have recently completed a three-year Faculty Fellowship for Student Success in the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost. A training experience in university administration. I teach a seminar on Green and Sustainable Architecture, and am a studio instructor. I completed a PhD in Architecture on the philosophy of Luce Irigaray and the theme of dwelling. After gaining tenure, I was elected by my peers to serve as Faculty Senate President in 2021. My scholarship bridges the fields of architectural theory and sustainable design and is grounded in inquiries into the nature of dwelling, including those criticisms of the philosopher Luce Irigaray. I am devoted to challenging and reshaping the discourse on sustainable architecture towards a socially and environmentally conscious future. My list of publications are available on this website with links to chapters and articles. Most recently this includes: "Irigaray's Reimagining of Dwelling, Love, and Architecture" In Thesholds, edited by Wesley Barker and Jena Jollisaint, 2026; “Inner and Outer Potentialities: A Spiritual Approach to the Problem of Regenerative Design” Special Edition, edited by Wesley Barker and Emily Holmes. Body and Religion. 2025,About Heidegger's Dasein. Interview with Luce Irigaray” Angelaki, Journal of Critical Humanities, and “Love, Energy and the Heart in Architecture” In Approaching a Sensitive Thinking (forthcoming, 2026)  am available to serve as the major professor for research Master's degrees and to mentor and coach early-career faculty.
